Rhéa hibiscus grapefruit

Lively and refreshing

The chimera took inspiration from a sacred Egyptian herbal tea known as Karkade, renowned for its aphrodisiac and healthy qualities since ancient times. By adding the exhilarating freshness of grapefruit, a symbol of prosperity, Mira has created a delicately acrid and fruity alcoholic beverage, with a sublime pink robe.

The perfect alternative to wine

At first glance Rhéa might look very similar to a Provence rosé, but in actual fact it’s the perfect alternative to wine. Containing half as many calories and with a far lower level of alcohol than wine (4.8% for Rhéa versus 12% for wine), this alcoholic beverage is perfectly adapted to meet the requirements of current healthier drinking trends

Tasting tips

Rhéa Hibiscus should be served chilled, ideally at 4°C, in a transparent wine glass to reveal its sublime pink robe. It’s the perfect accompaniment for salads, stir-fried fresh vegetables, sautéed white meats and delicate desserts. Rhéa can be enjoyed throughout your meal, but can also be served as an aperitif at lunchtime or early evening, fully revealing its delicately bitter taste combined with floral and fruity notes. Some examples of ideally suited dishes: duck breast with orange sauce, sautéed turkey with coconut milk, spring rolls, Belle-Helene pears, raspberry and citrus tarts, etc.

The Rhea hibiscus poured into a transparent wine glass which will reveal its sublime pink color.

refined design

The labels were designed by the talented Calicot duo of graphic artists, with the development of the Rhéa range in mind. The delicate lines, complex compositions and attention to detail reflects the quality of our alcoholic beverage. Its beautiful pink colour, conjuring the hibiscus flower and grapefruit pulp, perfectly matches the delicious flavours inside the bottle.
